Description
Located in Seminyak, Southern Bali, the sophisticated and secure Laksmana Estate is just a five-minute walk from Petitenget Beach. Sited within this private estate is the Des Indes paired villas. The estate is in proximity to some of Bali’s most celebrated fine dining restaurants, bars, and beach clubs. Some of the restaurants that are within easy reach from the estate include, Ku De Ta, Merah Putih, Potato Head, Metis, and Sarong. In addition to restaurants and beach clubs, the Laksmana Estate is also in proximity to Seminyak’s lifestyle shops, shopping center as well as Spas.
The villa derives its name from Holland’s internationally acclaimed Hotel Des Indes. Separating the two villas are double doors and plantation shutters. The latter opens up when the two Villas are leased together. Similarly, the shutters can be closed to offer the occupants of both villas’ optimal privacy. These two interconnecting Villas are designed around the swimming pool and are made of vaulted pavilions. In total, the villa boasts of five bedrooms that can accommodate a maximum of ten adults. Four of the villa’s five bedrooms feature king size beds while the remaining bedroom has twin beds that can be converted to a King size bed.
The hallmark of the Villa’s architectural design is the natural materials used. The floors are lined with teak wood while the walls feature Palimanan stone wall relief. The roof is also lined with teakwood while all bathrooms are fitted with Italian marbles and exquisite padded linen wall panels. The ornate décor that characterizes the interior of the villas’ add to their alluring charm. Beautiful colonial style furniture is predominant inside the villa and so are Asian artifacts and ceramics, oriental rugs, and valuable antiques.
The villa epitomizes vintage beauty and modern elegance. Contemporary top of the range King-Koil mattresses and curved 47 inch TVs and DVD players are the basic amenities found in all bedrooms. Other amenities available in the villa include Wi-Fi internet connectivity, a landline for international and local calls, a PABX system as well as a printer and fax machine on request.
To enjoy Seminyak’s soothing environment guests have the option of lazing around on Des Indes II’s antique daybed or lounging on Des Indes III’s poolside bale with comfy cushions. Guests can enjoy the villa’s calming environment while reading a book. Alternatively, guests can also take a walk nearby restaurants for mixed cocktails. Guests who wish to enjoy their meals within the Villa can do so in the Villa’s open-aired dining area, which has a dining table for ten and two seating areas.
A private chef is available to prepare delectable meals guaranteed to delight guests’ taste buds. Guests get complimentary breakfast and get to select from Western, Asian and Vegetarian menus for lunch and dinner. The villa also accommodates special dietary requests. After a long day, guests can unwind in their hot tubs or take a long shower before retiring to a good night sleep in their King size four poster bed.
The villa’s staff members include a team manager, assistant manager, chef, a cook, butlers, pool maintenance staff and security personnel. Babysitters and masseuses are available on request and at a fee.
